PMKVY, or Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, is a flagship skill certification scheme launched by the Indian government to encourage and promote skill development among youth. It offers free, short-term training and provides monetary rewards for successful skill certification.
Under PMKVY 4.0 Special Project, we have a training program for different job roles like Baking Technician, Beauty Therapist, Nail Technician, and General Duty Assistant. Each of these programs is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge that are essential in today's job market. The courses are tailored to meet industry standards, ensuring that the trainees are well-prepared to enter their chosen fields. We are an approved training provider under the Mizoram Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LESDE Department of the Government of Mizoram.
As part of MBOCCA, we offer skill training in Tailoring and Beauty Therapy.
Only MBOCCA members and their family members are eligible to participate in this training program.
Individuals interested in this training must first apply for MBOCCA membership and adhere to specific terms and conditions, and once successfully enrolled as members, they may apply for the skill training program.

Programme Title: Hotel Management Training and General Duty Assistant (GDA) Programme
About the Programme:
The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, under the aegis of the Skill India Initiative, presents a unique opportunity for aspiring hospitality professionals to acquire skills and knowledge in Hotel Management and General Duty Assistant (GDA) through a Fee-Based Training Programme.
Objective:
The primary objective of this programme is to equip trainees with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude required to excel in the hospitality industry as Hotel Management professionals and General Duty Assistants.
Course Curriculum:
The programme will cover the following topics:
- Hotel Management:
- Front Office Operations
- Housekeeping Management
- Food and Beverage Service
- Hotel Accounting and Finance
General Duty Assistant (GDA):
- Guest Service and Relations
- Room Preparation and Maintenance

Micro Enterprise Promotion Programme
The Micro Enterprises Promotion Programme (MEPP), launched by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), aims to empower entrepreneurs, particularly targeting youth, women, and rural communities. To implement this initiative in Mizoram, SIDBI has collaborated with Social Justice & Development India (SJ&DI) and has formalized this partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding, with the goal of achieving the following objectives.
Enhance Credit Delivery:
a. Improve access to commercial financing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through SIDBI and participating financial institutions.
b. Increase Productive Capacity: Enhance the productive and managerial capacity of MSMEs, leading to increased competitiveness and employment creation.
c. Support Entrepreneurship: Provide essential resources, skill development, technology support, and market linkages to marginal entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish and expand their businesses.
Job Creation:
a. Create employment opportunities and reduce migration by empowering aspiring individuals to start and grow their own businesses.
b. Access to Government Schemes: Facilitate connections to government schemes, such as PMEGP, PMFME, MUDRA, and Vishwakarma, to support MSME growth.
The program aims to support 500 micro-enterprises by December 2027, focusing on both new business establishments and strengthening existing ones. Key aspects of the program include:

a. Providing skill and business training to entrepreneurs, particularly women and disadvantaged groups.
b. Facilitating market access and linkages for micro-enterprises.
c. Offering technology support to enhance business operations.
d. Enabling easy access to loans and subsidies through nationalized and rural banks.
By achieving these objectives, MEPP aims to contribute to the growth and resilience of micro-enterprises, ultimately supporting economic development and poverty reduction.
